Mission Statement: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We’re the preeminent leadership development organization for girls in the region, offering every girl a chance to do something amazing.

Duties: Girl Scouts participate in a wide range of activities to explore our world and discover their interests. Community service plays a large role in Girl Scouting, and girls can also earn badges and patches for completing educational activities that complement classroom learning. Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s three programmatic focus areas are STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), Money Management and Health. Girls in grades kindergarten through 12th grade are welcome to join.

Everything in Girl Scouting is based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law, which includes many of the principles and values common across religions.  While we are a secular organization, Girl Scouts has always encouraged girls to take spiritual journeys via their faith's religious recognitions.

Time Commitment: Girl Scout troops meet on a regular basis. Each troop meets at various times throughout the month.

Special Skills: Girl Scouting is open to all girls in kindergarten through 12th grade, of all levels and abilities.
