Welcome Committee to New Parishioners

Mission Statement: To be the bridge to new members becoming fully incorporated into the community.

Duties: Visit new parishioners with a companion.

Time Commitment: Varies but averages 3 hours per month.

Special skills: Training provided in skills of hospitality, listening, and welcoming; can be taught but it helps to be a good listener, willing to meet other new people in their homes, always accompanied with a companion, and being a connector, one who can build bridges between people in the community. This committee is open to everyone.
