Welcome our New Principal!
Dear All Saints School and Parish Community,
My name is Melvin Bishop and I am excited to introduce myself as the new school principal for All Saints Catholic School. I am honored to join this great community where sharing our faith and instilling virtues in our students has a long tradition.
I have 30 years of experience working in schools with the last 22 of those years being as a building level administrator.
I have been married to my amazing wife Tina for 29 years this coming June. In fact, our wedding reception was held at All Saints all those years ago. We have four beautiful children, Parker, Peyton, Palmer, and Piper and family time is our greatest treasure.
I believe that great schools are just like great families. I plan to work daily to help all of the teachers, staff, parents, and community members continue to feel a part of the All Saints Family. It is my goal to help grow our school and community as we work together in the difficult times we are all facing as Catholics in the world today.
Pope Francis tells us, “The family remains the basic unit of society and the first school in which children learn the human, spiritual and moral values which enable them to be a beacon of goodness, integrity and justice in our communities.” I look forward to working with all of you, the first educators of your children, to help achieve our common mission and vision with the ultimate goal of helping each other get to Heaven.
