Parish School of Religion

We have a great team of Catechists who come and share the love of Christ each Wednesday evening to serve, pray with, and teach our children. They bring with them years of experience, a heart full of love, and passion for their faith to our students. If you feel called to catechize to the young people of our parish please call the Religious Education Department today.

We strive for complete intimacy and communion with Jesus Christ.

Parish School of Religion  †  Mission Statement

With God at our center, our mission is to work together as parents, catechists, and administrators to catechize and evangelize our young people in the Catholic Faith.

In an atmosphere of prayer and worship, surrounded by dedicated volunteers, our faith is fostered, community is formed, and service is proclaimed.

While God nourishes our life through the Eucharist and the other sacraments, we strive to live out the Gospel's radical values with gladness of heart.

Our PSR classes are in full swing now.  Registration for next school year will begin soon.

Classes are held each Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:20pm.  Next year's Registration Packets will be available to download on this webpage listed under PSR Forms.  If you register after July 15th, a $25 Late Fee (per family) will be applied. If you have a financial need, Tuition Assistance forms are also available PSR Forms as well.   Completed forms may be dropped off at the Parish Office or the School Office.

Whether you are a new family or returning, we look forward to having you join us in our Parish School of Religion the next school year!

Please contact the Office of Religious Education if you have any questions, we are happy to help.

We invite you to 'Encounter Lent' this Lenten Season.  Attend Mass on Ash Wednesday, March 6th and pick up a CRS Rice Bowl.  Pray as you 'build your bowl' together as a family. Open up the resources found within and use them with your family to guide your journey with Social Teachings and Alms Giving.

Visit the the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl website for more information on how you can journey through Lent.  Below are some of the Reflections found there.

Not fond of fish for your meatless Fridays?  Discover meatless recipes from around the world (Mexico, El Salvador,Gaza, Sierre Leon and many more).  You can even download the recipe cards!

Return your bowl on Palm Sunday filled with your family's alms from your journey.  Thank you for changing lives this Lent!
