While we usually encourage the reception of this sacrament when a person is in eighth grade, sometimes this is not possible due to sickness, non-involvement, or moving to another parish. Preparation includes a clear understanding of all the sacraments, and a candidate’s willingness to live the Christian faith.

Our emphasis is on prayer, scripture, study, and sharing the experience of our faith. Adult initiation in the Catholic Church normally takes place each year during the Easter Vigil or on the Feast of All Saints (November 1st). We are very fortunate to have four different music groups involving many people who have committed their time and talent to this most important ministry.
Ministering at the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass is our traditional organ choir. At the 10:30 AM Mass, we have a small ensemble that is comfortable with both traditional and contemporary music. Our 10:30 Gym Ensemble employs a predominately contemporary repertoire. And for those who are available during the week, we have the Resurrection Choir. This choir provides a valuable service to our fellow parishioners and their families at a difficult time by providing music at funeral liturgies. All choirs are always interested in and would welcome new members.
If you are a talented instrumentalist (organist, pianist, flutist, violinist, guitarist, etc..) or cantor we welcome your talents in this capacity as well.
Below is contact and rehearsal information for each of the choirs. Should you desire additional information, please feel free to call either myself or the person in charge of the group in which you have an interest.

The sandwiches are made at home and dropped off at the rectory, where they are picked up by one of the drivers from our parish and taken to the shelter.
