Mr. Mike Etter - 7th Grade

As the product of a strong Catholic education, I felt it was my duty to give back to the school system that gave me so much.

I grew up in the Fenton area and attended school at Sacred Heart School in Valley park from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. I went to high school at St. Louis Preparatory Seminary High School and was part of the last graduating class of high school seminarians in our Archdiocese. I received my BA in Elementary Education from Webster University and my Masters in Educational Leadership/Administration from St. Louis University.

I have taught all grade levels in a variety of climates. I taught 1st Grade for three years at St. Vincent DePaul School in Dutzow, Missouri for three years. I taught 2nd Grade for two years and 3rd Grade for 4 years at Sacred Heart School in Eureka, Missouri. I was hired as principal and served in that capacity for 5 years at Holy Rosary School in Warrenton, Missouri where I also taught 5th Grade (and 6th Grade Math) for two years. During that time, I realized that my heart was truly in the classroom, which led me to teaching 7th Grade homeroom and Middle School Math here at All Saints School.

My wife and I have been married for almost 11 years. We have three children: Ethan (age 8), Lukas (age 5), and Martha (age 1). My children attend St. Francis Borgia Grade School in Washington, Missouri where my wife serves as the Coordinator of Religious Education. In our free time, we like to fish, camp, and just spend time together as a family.

I feel so blessed and privileged to be on staff at All Saints School. It is a very warm and welcoming community that is very dedicated to its school and holds it to very high standards. I hope that I can live up to these standards. God bless you all!!!
