Stations of the Cross followed by Eucharistic Adoration

Meditation on The Stations of The Cross

Join Us On Friday, March 31 At 7:00 p.m.

This depiction of the Stations is a powerful way for you to reflect on Jesus’ suffering, as well as, the love Jesus has for us. It is an experience that involves the senses and emotions.

A reflection on the Stations enters you onto the path he traveled. As we retrace the final journey of Jesus Christ to Calvary, we listen to the people of that time give a description of what happened along the way to the Cross. Hear Mary Magdalene describe her feelings as she followed Jesus to His death. Feel the sorrow of Simon of Cyrene as he helps to carry the cross for Jesus. As Veronica offers a cloth to Jesus to wipe away the sweat and blood, she describes the moment. Jesus encounters his mother.

Participation in the Stations of the Cross helps us to be present in that time of the passion and death, to realize how great God’s love is for us.

Come to the church for this beautiful prayer to prepare you for Holy Week.

Eucharistic Adoration will take place following Stations until 7:45am on Saturday.
